Brian Wise brings more than 34 years of experience in finance, banking, operations, and management to the Halderman Companies. A Purdue University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Farm and Business Management, Brian has built a career defined by deep agricultural expertise and a consistent record of leadership across some of the industry’s most demanding roles.
Brian spent two decades as a commercial banker focused on agriculture, holding Vice President roles at KeyBank’s Great Lakes Agribusiness Group, Indiana National Bank, and the Louisville Bank for Cooperatives. During that time, he cultivated lasting relationships with food and grain processors, country elevators, farm supply wholesalers, seed processors, and farm machinery manufacturers throughout the Midwest.
From banking, Brian moved into operational leadership as Vice President and General Manager of the Farm Division at JBS United, Inc., where he oversaw a $70 million, 150-employee commercial hog operation spanning five states. Under his leadership, the division consolidated operations, implemented a risk management program, and grew into the largest supplier to the Tyson Foods processing plant in Logansport, Indiana.
Brian went on to serve as Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions at Teays River Investments, a farm real estate investment fund manager with approximately $200 million in assets under management across 10 states. He later became a Partner at BrightPath Capital, a private equity firm focused on food and agribusiness acquisitions, where he led prospecting efforts for new investment opportunities.
Most recently, Brian served as Senior Business Development Manager at Halderman Real Asset Management, responsible for sourcing investment opportunities — experience that translates directly into his current role with the Halderman Companies.
